Menu Selection:

- What is the process for selecting a menu for my event?

We offer a wide variety of menu options to cater to different dietary preferences and event themes. Our experienced team will work closely with you to understand your requirements and provide customized menu options to choose from.

Deposits & Guaranteed Minimum Guest Count:

- Is there a deposit required to secure catering services?

Yes, to secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit is mandatory. The specific amount will be agreed upon verbally or outlined in the contract and is typically a percentage of the total estimated cost. Upon accepting your cost sheet and menu, you are required to pay a minimum 30% security deposit. An additional non-refundable 20% administrative fee is also due 30 days before your event to cover the costs associated with planning and hiring.

- What happens if the number of guests attending my event changes?

We understand that guest counts can fluctuate. We will work with you to finalize the guaranteed minimum guest count prior to the event. If the number of guests increases, additional charges may apply. If the number decreases, please refer to our cancellation policy.

Tastings:

- Do you offer tastings before finalizing the menu?

Yes, we do provide tastings for select events. Please reach out to our team to discuss the suitability of a tasting for your specific occasion and to arrange a convenient appointment. In the event that you decide not to engage The Pendant's services, you will bear the responsibility for both the food and labor costs associated with the preparation of the tasting. An itemized invoice will be provided for your records. However, if you choose to proceed with our services, the cost of the tasting will be deducted from your final invoice.

Payment & Discounts:

- What are the accepted payment methods?

We accept cash, electronic transfers, and credit card payments. Payment details will be specified in the contract, verbally, or in correspondence.

- Are there any discounts available?

We occasionally run promotional offers and discounts. Please inquire with our team to see if any discounts apply to your event.

Rentals:

- Do you provide rental items such as tables, chairs, and tableware?

Yes, we can provide rental items for an additional cost. Our team will work with you to determine your rental needs and arrange for delivery and pickup.

Floral Arrangements:

- Do you provide floral arrangements for events?

While we do not provide floral arrangements directly, we can recommend trusted florists who can assist you with your floral needs.

Alcoholic Beverages:

- Can you provide alcoholic beverages for my event?

Yes, we can provide a variety of alcoholic beverages. Please note that additional permits and fees may be required based on your location and event type.

Outside Food & Beverage Additions:

- Can we bring our own food or drinks for the event?

We do not permit outside food and beverages, as we are responsible for maintaining the quality, safety, and presentation of the catering services.

Cancellations:

- What is your cancellation policy?

Service Charges & Gratuity:

- Do you charge service fees or include gratuity in the bill?

Excess Food, Recycling, Garbage, and Food Waste:

- What happens to excess food and food waste after the event?

We have policies in place to handle excess food, recycling, and garbage in an environmentally-friendly manner. Our team will take care of the proper disposal and recycling of any waste generated during your event.
